United Actuarial Services, Inc. (UAS) provides actuarial services related to all types of employee benefit programs.
This web site gives a brief description of our company.
Our clients include employers, unions, and multiemployer plans. Other companies that provide services to employee
benefit plans such as legal, accounting, consulting and third party administration firms are also our clients. Clients have the flexibility of
contracting with us for a specific service or for any combination of services we offer.
UAS has been in business since 1951. Until 2002, UAS was a division of TIC International Corporation. We have clients in 27 states served from
our Carmel, IN location. Originally, we offered services to the multiemployer
benefit plan industry. Many of the multiemployer plans operating today were designed and
established by us. We still specialize in this work. We are familiar with the special challenges of Taft-Hartley
plans and the collective bargaining process.
We are proud of the long-term relationship we have with our clients. Many have been with
us over 30 years, some for over 40 years. We are also proud of our staff which averages over
7 years of service with the company, and half average over 12 years. Our professional staff
includes consultants, actuaries, administrators, and research specialists - many with advanced
degrees and certifications.
UAS has a continuing relationship with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Our employees have, over the years,
been directors and committee members of this organization and have been speakers and authors
for them on a wide range of employee benefit topics at educational seminars and programs they conduct
around the country.
